Well since I use ImageShack alot I thought that it could be a little misleading to link to the sign up.
Imageshack Requires absolutely no signup.
To upload just visit
www.imageshack.us
I prefer to take the direct link to the image, and place it inside the [ I M G] tags. Hope this helps.
Also, I don't think that they delete any images, so thats why I use them :)

Quick question about posting check proof.

Which parts of the check should be cut out to make it secure but still verifyable?

Just look at some examples. Most likely any personal information that you don't want hanging around; full name, address, state, as well as the bank numbers at the bottom. I would still suggest to check what other people have blocked out.
