In the case that I want to find my referrals, the search results do not give results to numbers that are posted in people's profiles unless they did respond in the original thread of "Are Your My Referral"
I don't want to look at each user's profile to find out if their number matches my list and I don't want to search one-by-one for each number (like I said profile results don't come up anyway so they'd have to had posted it in here somewhere)
Also, what if my referral doesn't have any referrals on their own... then they'd have no reason to post in the "Are You My Referral Thread"
If you are looking for an specific number, you will be looking for 1 number at a time either way. So the search works just as well, except maybe an extra step (that hopefully doesn't kill anybody). Most people that post in the forum, to begin with, have some referrals. Even more so, not everyone posts in there, so I wouldn't expect this to be much different. Furthermore, why do you want a person that has and will only post once, let's say, only for this thread? It won't give you much insides either way. Except for a "hey, my referral posted once in the forums!

And I didn't give you my ID, but somehow you got it. ;) So I don't think the looking for referral ID is inefficient as it currently is. It serves it purpose. It could be better, but that doesnt make it obsolete. Also, you could just search by post, if looking through the my referral thread bothers you. :P

I am not against this thread at all, I just see it as a duplicate for the other one... or just a small sub division. It's like some people that try to create a "fast approving offers" versus "fast approving cc offers" versus "good offers" and so on. That all could be combined to one, because its practically still the same info.

*shurgs* But whatever floats your boat I guess.
