Hey Troopers,

Many of you know that there has been a lot of chatter lately about the GameVance & PlaySushi offers. You've heard that the advertiser has been unhappy with the quality of traffic they received and, therefore, have refused payment to many of their affiliates. While we have, also, been hit with reversals, we believe that we will be able to pay most of you for all your efforts on these offers. Some of our affiliates are simply reversing a flat percentage of our leads (which we are fighting) while others are providing us with user information for those who completed the same offers on multiple sites. For obvious reasons, we will be reversing leads from members who fall into the latter category. We should hopefully have all this information early next week.

As for the chunk of leads have been reversed without explanation... we have not reversed these leads, choosing instead to eat the loss of a few thousand dollars. We do not believe in punishing our loyal members when they have done everything asked of them by the advertiser. If nothing else changes, as of this moment, we intend to pay all members for all leads (except when proven fraudulent).

The general feeling (hope) here and among our affiliates is that the advertiser will be paying for the remainder of the leads. Obviously, nothing is set in stone until the money has changed hands. This is scheduled to happen on June 1st. As such, we have made the difficult decision to delay payment on these offers through to June's payment cycle. You will notice the claim date on these offers has changed to May 1st in order to accomodate this decision. This is something that must be done in order to protect the longetivity of the site... something I know that everybody here wants as well.

Some of you have already expressed your understanding for the situation, showing a great level of maturity. I ask only that the rest of you follow suit. Many other sites have simply reversed all leads (even when only a portion were reversed on them) in order to take in some profit on these offers. We have chosen, instead, to take a loss... we just have to wait until we receive the partial payment to ensure that this doesn't become our Waterloo. Thank you for your understanding and loyalty. Our priorities have always been Website Sustainability, Members, Profit... in that order. I believe that the decisions outlined in this announcement reflect those priorities perfectly!

Because the advertiser has been happy with the majority of our traffic, you may notice some of these offers coming back. If they do, please make sure that you are only completing them on TreasureTrooper. If you have done them elsewhere, do not complete them again as they will end up being reversed from you. (This is true for all offers.)

have those been processed already?
i set my min payout taking into account those offers, so i had to lower it just now, and i am hoping payments haven't been processed yet...

Nope, they haven't been processed yet. They'll hopefully be processed today. Possibly not until Monday. But, as always, all payments will be Paypal'd & mailed by the 20th.

this is very noble, one question. I had a account on another site a couple of months back before I came to Treasure Troopers. I may or may not have done 2 or 3 of the Gamevance offers for their site before I had even become a member of this one. I no longer use that site and never will again because I was banned for a argument I had with a admin and ended up being out 30$. It has been at least 4 or 5 months since I did the offers on that site. Should this be a concern that would cause my GV offers for here to be reversed? I was just wondering.
